DIY Healthy Kitty Treats

Today’s DIY has a much longer shelf life than yesterday’s Kitty Tuna Treats, but it is equally as yummy (if you like liver). My kitty, Shadow, would tell you as much if he could talk!

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup of Whole Wheat Flour (30 g)

1/2 Cup of Dry Non-Fat Powdered Milk (114 g)

1 Tablespoon of Cornmeal (9 g)

1 Raw Egg, Whipped

1/4 Cup of Water (120 mL)

1/4 Cup of Powdered Chicken Stock (57 g)

1 Tablespoon of Catnip (15 mL)

1/4 Cup of Cooked Liver, finely chopped (57 g)

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together in a plastic container. Seal and place in the fridge for a few hours.

Butter your hands before shaping mixture- knead it and shape it into balls. Store in a sealed container in your fridge. Don’t forget to label with the name and date.

Shelf life: 2 months

Come back tomorrow for a special DIY for High-Protien Bird Treats!

Until next time,
